Return of the Sinister Six

After defeating villains like Green Goblin, Doc Ock, and Venom, OG had seen it all. That is, until one day, when he was swept into the Spider-Verse and found himself at the Daily Bugle face to face with the same villains he’d thought were long gone!

Stepping in to help a new Spider-Man, OG now finds himself living in the Spider’s Nest with Spider Friends from every universe!

Power of the Sun

Overhearing Gwen tell Spider-Man that they needed Tritium to finish the Super Collider and send him home, OG stepped in, recalling that he knew of the element from Doc Ock’s fusion experiment. Spider-Man and OG teamed up to go retrieve some from the newly-reformed villain, but matters became complicated when Prowler and Scorpion attempted to kidnap him!

OG wrestled with Prowler high in the sky atop Doctor Octavius’s mobile lab, but fight ended with a catastrophe on a local bridge! OG did his best to save a truck, but Doctor Octavius eventually had to reconnect with his arms to help out the heroes. This, however, allowed the Master Planner to take control of his mind, and Octavius once more became Doc Ock!

OG and Spider-Man worked together to put a stop to Doc Ock’s rampage, but landed Doc Ock in the river, drowning once more. OG, however, would not allow his friend to go out this way. Not again. He dove into the river and saved Doctor Octavius, sending him back to Ravencroft.

Feeling guilty for Octavius’s devolution, OG went to clear his head on top of the Chrysler Building, where he feels at home overlooking the city he protects.

Pillar of Sand, Not of Society

While clearing his head from the fiasco with Doc Ock, OG’s Spider-Sense went off, and he noticed a sandstorm forming in the city below. He knew all too well this meant one man: Sandman.

Authorities attempted to engage Marko, but only enraged him and made the sandstorm worse. OG swooped in and informed the officers he would handle it, moving in on the sandstorm alone. Upon reaching the center, OG tried to get Sandman to calm down, but something was wrong with Marko. He began to hallucinate OG as his black-suited alter ego, out to hurt him. Marko desperately tried to tell him he was sorry for killing Uncle Ben, but before OG could properly respond, Sandman knocked him clean across the city…

… And when he woke up, OG found himself face to face with his once thought dead friend, Harry Osborn, whose face had also been restored from the pumpkin bomb burns. Though OG was happy to see his friend again, their reunion didn’t last long, they still had a Sandman problem. Marko had split into several sand clones of himself, each carrying pieces of his fragmented memory.

Peter and Harry went to work, dispatching the clones and saving the city in the process. However, Harry was met with hostility and trepidation from the authorities and civilians, because even though he was trying to help, there was no escaping the shadow of the Green Goblin.

Once the clones were dealt with, Harry helped OG get to the center of the storm, where he was finally able to stop Sandman. Meeting Marko on the roof, he made OG promise to find his daughter Penny, as that was all he truly cared about. OG swore he would, and tried to get help for Flint’s unstable sand molecules, but it was too late. Sandman faded away into the wind, forever.

OG invited Harry back to the Spider’s Nest, more than happy to have his friend back on board. But Harry declined, noting Spiders and Goblins wouldn’t mix, and took on mission to change the perception of Goblins and Osborns in Loomworld. To truly become a New Goblin. OG wished his friend luck, and promised to be there if he ever needed a hand.

All I Webbed for Christmas

When the Green Goblin destroyed Christmas, OG and the Amazing Spider-Man were tasked with replacing all of the gifts that had exploded. OG noted that most of them were expensive, and irreplaceable. Upon wondering how they would accomplish such an undertaking, Amazing got a social media alert from a woman named Gloria at the F.E.A.S.T. shelter, claiming she was more than happy to share some extra gifts with the Amazing Friends.

However, when the pair arrived, they were intimidated by the sheer number of gifts Gloria had available. OG reassured Amazing it was no big deal, recalling he once delivered pizza as Spider-Man. But after several failed attempts, one of which resulting in even further damage to OG’s back, the two Spiders decided to engage in some menace-level property damage and haul the gifts back to the Spider’s Nest on with the Spidey-Buggy!
