Ultimates (S.H.I.E.L.D.) | Secret Wars Dark Dimension Chapter 6
After Black Widow acquired her portion of the Tesseract, Nick Fury discovered that the Red Skull was attempting to change the outcome of the original Secret War in Wakanda. Racing through the Dark Dimension, Fury and Strange successfully acquired the next shard of the Tesseract, and King T’Challa emerged victorious. Now, the fight moves to Brooklyn, and a new Spider-Man.

After Taskmaster failed him once more, the Red Skull quickly moved for the next shard of the Cosmic Cube, in Wakanda. Traversing the Dark Dimension, Skull and Dormammu attempted to use the shard to help Killmonger destroy Wakanda, however he was outmatched by Fury once again. Now Skull returns to his failed Symbiote experiment, in hopes that Venom can aid HYDRA in their pursuit of a new world order.
Wakanda Forever (S.H.I.E.L.D.) | Secret Wars Dark Dimension Chapter 5
Finding his way through the Dark Dimension, Nick Fury and Doctor Strange sent a desperate message to the Black Widow, which led her into a direct confrontation with Taskmaster. The battle for the shard of the Tesseract was hard fought, but in the end, Black Widow’s training prevailed. Now, Fury and Strange turn their attention to the jungles of Wakanda.

Frustrated by his loss, the Red Skull and Dormammu sought to change the Secret Wars of old, by directly contacting Taskmaster. Informed of where to find the next shard of the Cosmic Cube, Taskmaster engaged Black Widow in a deadly battle. But his ability to mimic his opponent was no match for her skill. Now Skull sets his gaze forward, to the nation of Wakanda.

Continuing their journey through the Dark Dimension, Nick Fury and Doctor Strange came upon a battle from the first Secret War, where Maria Hill found herself cornered by Crossbones. Fury managed to get the shard of the Tesseract first, and save S.H.I.E.L.D. But he now wonders if there is a way to interact with the past, as opposed to merely watching.

As their conquest through the Dark Dimension raged on, Red Skull and Dormammu found themselves in the midst of a battle between Crossbones, and Agent Maria Hill. However, the shard of the Cosmic Cube was found by Nick Fury first, and the battle played in S.H.I.E.L.D’s favor. Infuriated by HYDRA’s losses, Skull now seeks to break the flow of time, and interfere in history itself.
