In a secret S.H.I.E.L.D. location, Agent Phil Coulson had collected a handful of Avengers to gather intel on one of their own: Sam Wilson, The Falcon.

First up was Spider-Man. Coulson demanded Spider-Man tell him everything he knew about Sam Wilson. Spider-Man, eagerly proceeded, insisting that Sam was crazy, recalling the time Wilson attacked him for cancelling his show Sam Says after only two episodes.

Agent Coulson interrogates The Avengers

Captain America confidently declared Sam was a friend, informing Coulson of when he had made him an Avenger without hesitation.

Iron Man boastfully claimed Sam was smart for taking his advice about creating a Kickstarter to raise funds for Sam Says episode 3.

Black Widow called Sam brave, remembering how he had saved her and Hawkeye from the Masters of Evil on his own.

Hawkeye, also remembering that day, told Coulson Sam wasn’t great at fighting, as he had been thrashed by Bulldozer during the rescue attempt.

War Machine said Sam gave off a “sad, lonely” vibe, recounting the time Sam tried to insert himself into a conversation between him and the Black Panther.

Black Panther, also calling on this moment, stated that Sam talked incredibly too much.

Hulk called him combative, referencing a dust up him and the Falcon while he was running security for a convention.

Before he left, Spider-Man asked why Coulson needed this intel on Falcon. Coulson informed Spider-Man that Wilson had stolen the Infinity Gauntlet, and feared he had plans to use it.

Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America confront the Falcon

Agent Coulson assembled Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America, a team capable of stopping the power of the Infinity Gauntlet, whatever it took. The trio confronted Falcon, demanding he give up the Gauntlet.

Sam responded by calling the Avengers out for failing him, and said he intended to create a world where Sam Says episode 3 exists.

Thor begged him to listen to reason, while Captain America insisted they didn’t want to hurt him. Iron Man added that the energy from using the Gauntlet would tear Sam apart.

Falcon unleashes the power of the Infinity Gauntlet

But Falcon was done listening, declaring he was the one in possession of the Infinity Gauntlet.

Captain America pleaded Sam to stop, apologizing on behalf of the Avengers, and himself for letting Sam down. But to no avail. With the words “I am the Falcon”, Sam snapped his fingers, and unleashed the power of the Infinity Gauntlet for the third time on Earth-84061.
