Marvel’s Avengers Ms. Marvel Livestream
Marvel Studios Ms. Marvel just dropped on Disney Plus! Eileen Nestman (voice of Ghost Spider) and I had a chat about it while both playing as Kamala in Marvel’s Avengers! Check out the livestream below! And to check out Eileen’s YouTube channel, Click Here!
I truly did enjoy it, it’s so unique and I very much can’t wait for the next one! I think Kamala is just what the MCU needs at the moment! I talked about more details in the stream, but those are my general thoughts.
That’s it for now. Do you want to see more Avengers Livestreams where we discuss new MCU shows? Sound off below! Face Front True Believers, and I’ll see you in the Multiverse!

Ms. Marvel for Every Occasion!
I have three Ms. Marvel figures! I love Ms. Marvel! She’s great! Kamala has definitely made an impression in her very short time in the Marvel Universe. So, I decided to take my three Ms. Marvel figures, and create a collage! Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you, Ms. Marvel for Every Occasion!
Now I know what you’re all wondering. Joshua, how did you assemble such a magnificent Ms. Marvel menagerie? Well I’m glad you asked True Believer, and I’m happy to walk you through it! Go ahead, scroll on!
Now, we begin our little hodgepodge of heroine heroics with a classic comic Ms. Marvel and her idol, Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel! (Who sorely needs an updated comic Marvel Legend! I mean, look at her!) When posing the OG Ms. Marvel fig, Carol was the obvious, and only choice, to put by her side!
Next we’ve got Kamala spearheading the Avengers, Iron Man and Captain America to be precise, in their Iconic costumes from Marvel’s Avengers video game! That’s right, Kamala basically took charge as the lead character in a AAA Avengers blockbuster game! Didn’t I tell you, she’s made quite the splash in the Marvel U! And the Gamerverse Marvel Legends (Here’s to hoping they, you know, round out the team!) were the perfect trio for this middle shot.
And lastly, we have her poised with Peter Parker in a partnership that pales to no other pair! With the exclusive Marvel Unlimited Marvel Legends Ms. Marvel figure (I did that on purpose) sporting her Spider-Man themed burqini! In the issue I’ve placed behind them, Marvel Team-Up (2019) #2, Peter and Kamala have actually switched bodies! They didn’t wear each other’s get-ups in the mag, but it made for some pretty unique cover art! I used the retro Legends Peter Parker with the “Spider-Sense” head because it was pretty close to how Pete actually looks on the cover!
So, after the posing, the shots, a little Photoshop, ‘borrowing’ the Ms. Marvel logo from the upcoming Disney+ show (Because Disney+ has ever so conveniently made their title logos very draggable PNG’s!) I came up with this masterpiece! Hope you enjoy it! I sure did! Anyways, thanks for checking out this post. If you want to see me unbox 2 of the 3 figs in here, see the below videos. Other than that, Face Front True Believers, and I’ll see you in the Multiverse!

Welcome to Marvel City
Hasbro, eat your heart out! Welcome to the future! Welcome, to Marvel City! I had time, I was bored, so why not?
Looks like All-New, All-Different Spider-Man has a bird’s eye of the entire scene below!
A city of heroes…
Bound by honor…
To protect it at all costs!
Captain America, Sentinel of Liberty and the First Avenger, never relents in the fight against the forces of HYDRA!
Black Bolt has something to say, and when he talks, people listen!
Wasp patrols the skies, while Thor summons strength from Odin in Asgard above! And Star-Lord’s always ready for action! But where’d his tunes go?
Of course, no one stands a chance when Iron Man and War Machine team up to take down the bad guys!
Lifelong friends Spider-Woman and Captain Marvel are two women you DO NOT want to mess with! Unless you want a venom blast and a cosmic punch to the face! And is that Vision phasing through the ground behind them?
Speaking of Venom, what rock did this Sinister Symbiote crawl from under?
Falcon soars high, but a particularly sneaky Black Cat gets away with some pilfered goods! Oh Felicia, will you ever learn?
By the Ruby Rings of the Crimson Bands of the Hoary Hosts… Whatever! Doctor Strange is here to make with the hocus pocus!
Black Widow gives Hawkeye a lift on her sweet ride, they always worked better as a team! Let’s just hope that Ms. Marvel can stop fangirling long enough to Embiggen!
‘Ol J. Jonah Jameson isn’t too happy with all these superheroes tearing things up outside of Bugle offices! It doesn’t help that Giant-Man is mocking him either…
There are tales… legends of a Spirit of Vengeance… The Ghost Rider, making the best of a deal with the devil!
What did Deadpool get himself into this time? Maybe a certain Infinity Gauntlet-wielding Mad Titan wasn’t too fond of Lady Death’s fascination with this clown…
Looks like the newest Spider-Man on the block, Miles Morales, snagged a classic Spidey baddy, the Shocker! Great job Miles!
Meanwhile, the Immortal Iron Fist has engaged the terrible Taskmaster in combat! Don’t use your best moves Danny, you know he can copy them!
Storm and Silk watch over the city, a valiant long-time member of the X-Men, and a Spider trying to find her place in the world after 10 years away…
Bravery is not measured in size, and Rocket and Baby Groot prove that throwing down with one of the biggest Marvel villains out there, the Rhino!
But there are always bigger Marvel villains, lurking in the distance…
But here to protect his city is none other than Daredevil! Keeping a watchful… ear, from above! And Spider-Gwen aka Ghost Spider doesn’t look stressed, she’s listening to the latest hit from her band the Mary Janes! Wait… there’s Star-Lord’s tunes! Dang it Gwen!
But down below, titans clash, as Hulk pins down one of his worst foes, the Abomination!
This Marvel power couple knows no bounds, Cyclops and Phoenix are always here to save the day, and mutant-kind!
And bow down (wait, they don’t do that there…) for the King of Wakanda, Black Panther! With Okoye by his side, nothing’s getting past him! Wakanda forever!
So there you have it. Heroes…
That swore to fight.
To stand for justice.
To Assemble. In our darkest hours.
And to let us know, that they will always be here.

Watch Me Rise: Why We Need Marvel Rising
I worked at Toys ‘R’ Us up until it closed. And one thing I always noticed was the DC Superhero Girls. A whole big section of figures, dolls, play sets, vehicles, and Legos. They have a TV show. They have comics. They have toys. My buddy has a daughter, and I’m trying to start her liking Marvel young (because what kind of friend are you if you don’t turn your friend’s kids into Marvel fans!) I got her a little plush Spider-Man and Black Panther, but in terms of girl stuff, there’s not a lot to choose from. Your options are a 0 points of articulation, poorly painted Titan Series Black Widow, or a sexy Spider-Gwen bombshell statue. Even if I wanted to, I can’t find suitable Marvel merchandise for a 4-year-old girl. Heck, on Free Comic Book Day 2016 and 2017, I picked up an issue of DC Superhero Girls for her!
That leads me to my next issue. Around the time Wonder Woman was coming out, everyone was making a big deal about the ‘first’ female led superhero movie. That’s when I began to think, really think, where are all of Marvel’s female superheroes? They’re all on teams; heroes like Jean Grey, Storm, Rogue, and Invisible Woman, in the X-Men and Fantastic 4 (none of which can currently be in the MCU, so… no merchandise). Heroes like She-Hulk, Elektra, Mockingbird, and maybe until recently Wasp aren’t recognizable to the general public. The teaser trailer to Jessica Jones literally said “It’s time the world knew her name.” Because outside of comics, no one knows female Marvel Heroes! Aside from Black Widow…
This leads us to the big resurgence we’ve seen in the past few years: Spider-Gwen, Silk, Kamalah Khan, Jane Foster Thor, Moon Girl, X-23 Wolverine, the push on Squirrel Girl, and the big, BIG push on Captain Marvel. The comics literaly peg her as the most popular hero in the 616 Marvel Universe. The thing is, you can put out as many new heroes as you want, but Marvel has never had a Wonder Woman. And maybe, with Marvel Rising, they can.
If Marvel Rising can do what DC Superhero Girls has done, I think we all can consider it a success. It spotlights all the female heroes that Marvel has had trouble getting popular outside of the base comic reading community. Squirrel Girl, Ms. Marvel, Ghost Spider, and Quake, who may be more popular because of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but not enough for little girls to want Quake dolls. They just had a comic on Free Comic Book Day 2018, which I was all too happy to get for my buddy’s little girl. Once this show premiers, maybe we’ll get action figures, and dolls, and play sets, and Legos. This is the first step to getting Quake in the same conversation as Harley Quinn and Gwen in the same conversation as Starfire. Once Captain Marvel comes out (on my birthday!) next year, she’ll hopefully be in the same conversation as Wonder Woman. But little girls need more from Marvel than Black Widow and Scarlet Witch. They need dolls. They need t-shirts. They need posters. They need Marvel Rising.
