Happy New Year True Believers!
Written by Joshua Westbrook

Face Front! It’s 2022 and I’m sitting here at dang near 3:00 am just thinking about how much my little blog has grown! Well, mostly my YouTube channel, heck, 90% of my fanbase will probably never see this, but you know what, that’s okay! I haven’t put much emphasis on the ‘blog’ part of ‘Face Front Blog’. Hopefully I can change that!
I am so thankful for all of the new Mighty Marvelites I could reach this past year with my Return to the Spider-Verse series, and I hope to reach many more. To tell more stories. Interact with more fans. Build a bigger community. Remember Face Front’s mission statement:
“There was an idea. To bring together a group of the biggest Marvel fans. So that when the world was sick and tired of hearing them blab on and on about Marvel, they could come and talk about it with real fans in a way they never could before. On that day, Face Front was born.”
I want Face Front to be that place for you True Believers. Believe it or not, the most fun I’ve had with this blog since its inception were my livestreams last year! Because I had finally built a big enough audience to have a conversation with! Just me, and a bunch of you guys, talking Marvel. I love it. I want more of it.
So here’s to 2022 bringing us all closer together. Fans, from every corner of the globe, talking about the one thing we all love more than any other thing in the world: Marvel. I’m excited, I’m dedicated, and I’m ready. Are you?
I hope to hear from you all! Sound off in the comments below, or on Face Front’s Twitter, Insta, Facebook, YouTube, heck, I’ve got TikTok now! Anywhere your voice can be heard, I wanna hear it. Loud and proud. Let’s make this year the most Marvelous one yet! Face Front True Believers, and I’ll see you in the Multiverse!

Hero Spotlight: Black Widow | Red Room Takeover
Hey there True Believers! And Welcome to the Red Room! I did what I’m calling a Hero Spotlight! And today we have Black Widow! Though her movie isn’t out until July, I’ve done several things to celebrate this S.H.I.E.L.D. spy turned Avenger that is near and dear to all of our hearts!
Dark Dimension Chapter 4

Dark Dimension Chapter 4: The Red Room available now! So, if you’re familiar with Face Front then you’re familiar with Secret Wars. Dark Dimension Chapter 4: The Red Room pits Black Widow against the fearsome Taskmaster! Head over to the Dark Dimension Homepage and make sure you cast your vote for who should win the shard of the Tesseract this month: S.H.I.E.L.D. or HYDRA! Hurry, voting for Chapter 4, along with your chance to win the Prize Bundle, ends on May 31! (0:35-1:12)
Black Widow’s Red Room Piroshki’s

Dinner and a show! I successfully turned our kitchen into a Red Room itself and made a delicious Russian dish called Piroshki’s! It’s just meat and cheese and sometimes potatoes (which I used as a side) stuffed in dough, nothing to it! Now how did I make our kitchen red? Well, I covered the lights with fragments of a red tablecloth and viola! One delicious Black Widow themed meal, one awesome Red Room, and one mildly amused family! (1:13-2:45)
Marvel’s Avengers Red Room Takeover

Of course, you all should know that Marvel’s Avengers has been running their Red Room Takeover event in the game! It’s so fun to ring out AIM bots in the techno-lava. I did quite a bit of bot-bashing as Ms. Marvel, Iron Man, and none other than Black Widow herself! Of course, though, with baddie ring outs, there’s bound to be some… mistakes… (2:46-7:50)
I hope you all enjoyed this Hero Spotlight! I definitely hope to do more, this was really fun! Face Front True Believers, and I’ll see you in the Multiverse!

The Night I Met Donald Glover: A Miles Morales Story
So GameStop said that their shipment was delayed, and so now I can’t get Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales until tomorrow! Perplexed, and confused, I decided to calm myself and make this video. Episode 2 of The Face Front Show! True Believers, I present to you, The Night I Met Donald Glover: A Miles Morales Story!

Top 10 Last Words in all of Marvel
Hey there True Believers! So as I’m sure you’re aware, a lot of heroes have fallen in the Marvel Universe, but some of them make sure to drop an awesome final line before they go out! Some don’t even have to die, but their final interactions with certain characters can be just as memorable. So I’ve gathered my list of the top ten last words across all of Marvel! I’m talking comics, shows, movies, here are the final words of Marvel heroes that will stick with me forever!
*Note, this list, being about last words and all, goes into the deaths of a lot of characters, so watch out for Spoilers!
10: Elektra
“This is not the end…”
Elektra Natchios, Daredevil S2E13
As Daredevil is holding a dying Elektra in his arms in the Season 2 finale, these are the last words she utters to the man she loves. Marvel fans know Elektra comes back after she dies, but still, this leaves just the right amount of hopeful and ominous in the hearts of viewers. She’s literally dying, and her final choice of words are it’s not over! Perfect dialogue for Elektra considering her story, and perfect last words.
9: Living Laser
“Imagine that. I’m the guy who saved Iron Man.”
Arthur Parks, Iron Man: Armored Adventures S1E21
Living Laser was dying throughout the episode, his own energy tearing him apart. Tony was the only one that tried to help save him, so when M.O.D.O.C. (that’s not a typo, in this show he was Designed Only for Chaos) spilled the beans on Iron Man’s identity, Laser decided to use everything he had left to help save Tony. A touching and heroic sacrifice from a villain, and last words that just tug at the heartstrings!
8: Heimdall
“Allfathers… let the dark magic flow through me one last… time.
Heimdall, Avengers: Infinity War
Heimdall was in a bad place from the moment Infinity War started. He couldn’t help Thor or Hulk fight Thanos, the Black Order had Loki dead to rights, it was bleak. So with his final breath, he summons the Bifrost one more time and sends Hulk to warn the Avengers of Thanos’s arrival! It cost him dearly, but it was a brave sendoff for the Guardian of the Bifrost. Not to mention it tied up that issue most people had with Thor getting back to Earth in The Avengers after the Bifrost had been destroyed.
7: Mary Jane
“Face it Tiger… you just hit the jackpot.”
Mary Jane Watson, Amazing Spider-Man #545
One More Day is probably nobody’s favorite Spider-Man story. But I’d be lying if I said watching Mephisto tear Peter and MJ’s marriage apart wasn’t emotional. This was one of only a few times that reading a comic book made me cry. And the fact that Mary Jane’s last words to Peter were also her first… oof. They knew what they were doing. Right in the feels.
6: Black Bolt
“Goodbye, brother.”
Black Bolt, Inhumans S1E8
When Black Bolt speaks, people listen! Of course that’s because a mere whisper from him could level a mountain, so he uses his words sparingly. Black Bolt had one line in the entire 8 episodes of the Inhumans show. And he used it not only to say goodbye to his brother, but to trap him on the moon forever. Such a powerful moment, and a successful use of his one line.
5: Madame Masque
“You and I found something on the bottom of the ocean. And I tried to turn it into something beautiful.”
Whiney Frost, Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest S5E23
The Avengers Assemble show didn’t have much in terms of relationships you could get behind, but one of them was Hawkeye and Whitney Frost. They bonded in Season 4 and were found working together on an ancient washed up Wakandan ship in Season 5. Of course, when this ship turned Whitney into Madame Masque and slowly drove her insane, it had to go. She used everything in her power to save her discovery, but when it’s clear she’s going to lose, she turns to Hawkeye and says this to his face before getting dragged down and blown up. Hawkeye’s reaction alone was enough to warrant this inclusion.
4: The Watcher
“I see you.”
Uatu, Original Sin #1
Brilliant writing. Just, who thinks of this!? Uatu, who’s sole purpose in life is to watch people, and observe universal events, turns to his killer and says “I see you.” Perfect, perfect, prefect. Original Sin was worth it for this line alone! I will never not love that these were Uatu’s last words.
3: Mysterio
“People, they need to believe. And nowadays, they’ll believe anything.”
Quentin Beck, Spider-Man: Far From Home
So, I mean, come on. He’s not dead. Seriously, his last words were literally people will believe anything! He’s not dead! And I don’t know about you, but I think that this is the perfect closing line for the Master of Illusion. All it was missing was a director saying “And… scene!” Honestly, Mysterio is the best big-screen adaptation of a Spider-Man villain since Green Goblin. And this line as his last just confirms it.
2: Jean Grey
“Mutation, it is the key to our evolution. It is how we have evolved from a single-celled organism into the dominant species on the planet. This process is slow, normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward.”
Jean Grey, X2: X-Men United
As X2 comes to a close, and we pan over Alkali Lake, we hear the voice of the recently deceased Jean Grey reciting a speech about mutation, and how it effects evolution. This “Evolution leaps forward” speech in and of itself is amazing, but the fact that Xavier opened the first movie with this speech, word for word, makes it that much cooler. And as if all that wasn’t enough, just as she says the final line, we see the Phoenix appear ever so faintly beneath the water. Talk about Evolution! This scene will always give me chills!
1: Iron Man
“I am Iron Man.”
Tony Stark, Avengers: Endgame
You knew this was number one. Again, who thinks of this stuff! Tony Stark, the man that started the MCU, and ended the first movie with the famous words “I am Iron Man”. This is just a full circle ending at its finest, and honestly, the best last words from any character in all of Marvel history. This moment is one of those cinematic staples that will be immortalized with the greatest film moments of all time! I am Iron Man, then a snap to save the universe. The MCU mic drop, and the heroic sacrifice we will never forget.
That’s my list! Did I miss anything? Let me know below, and as always, Face Front True Believers, and I’ll see you in the Multiverse!

Next in line, I’ve got a playthrough of a gone, but not forgotten, Spider-Man game of yesteryear: Spider-Man Unlimited! What?! It must be old footage! Witchcraft, dark magics! By what sorcery am I able to play a game that was canceled over two years ago?
Quite simple: I’m an app hoarder and I never deleted it! Luckily for me, the game still lets you go in and play! So sit back, relax, and enjoy this Spider-Man Unlimited gameplay in 2020!
Staying on games, I figured since I promised gameplay waaaay back in my Spider-Man PS4 Unboxing video, yet the only thing I’ve delivered is a couple of photo volumes, just for Spider-Man Day, I’ve recorded my favorite level in the game!
I guess I like it because it’s got a little of everything: Action, stealth, platforming, QTE’s! All that jazz. Also, I don’t know how you n00bs play Marvel’s Spider-Man, but have a seat and observe a master at work. This is some high-level gameplay, okay! Put some respect on my name!
And now, here it is True Believers, what you’ve been waiting for! Since October 31, 2019, we’ve known that Spider-Man is missing. Where did he go? Where has he been all this time?
All of those questions and more will be answered in the next Face Front Original, Spider-Man: Return of the Sinister Six! In honor of Spider-Man Day, I’ve prepared your first look at the new original.
True Believers, I give you the official trailer for Spider-Man: Return of the Sinister Six!

UPDATE 4: I think we’re close to finding Spider-Man! We picked up this scrambled transmission at Face Front HQ! But… I feel like locating him after all this time was only half the battle… getting him back might prove to be… deadly…

Official S.H.I.E.L.D. Report follows:
After his interview concerning Sam Wilson with S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson, the superhero known as Spider-Man has gone missing.
The arresting Agent in charge of detaining the Green Goblin after the incident on Bleecker Street reported that the villain was droning on about Spider-Man going missing. Upon further investigation, and hours of searching, it’s clear that Spider-Man is nowhere to be found.
Agent Coulson testifies that he last saw Spider-Man entering into a “ridiculous-looking jeep” with “what could have been his girlfriend”. He was unclear as to where the two were headed, but did hear Spider-Man mention something about a “News Flash“.
*Note: Spider-Man’s disappearance seems to coincide with the recent Level 7 Incident regarding Sam Wilson.

Face Front Ultimate
Face Front Ultimate is the final chapter of the Face Front Blog. This is the new direction, with new initiatives, and an all around better fan experience. Let’s lay out what exactly you can expect from the biggest update since Face Front’s launch:
The Website
As you’ll probably notice, the website looks entirely different now! I’ve remodeled it from the ground up, making the interface easier and creating a more accessible and streamlined experience.
The HQ houses all of the unique portions of the blog, and the videos and podcast are still in the same place. Account management has all been moved under one tab, and the Token Shop tab gives you access to all things involving Face Front Tokens, including your cart. New look, new content, same Face Front.
Marvel Multiverse

Marvel Corner has been replaced by Marvel Multiverse. It’s essentially the same thing, giving you access to each unique category of the blog, however the title makes more sense. And, you know, sounds cooler. Click Here to access the Marvel Multiverse.
Oscorp Conspiracy: Back to Formula

The Oscorp Conspiracy is back! For those of you who didn’t know, the Oscorp Conspiracy was an interactive experience where Face Front users took on Norman Osborn and Oscorp to try and stop their evil schemes. Now, it’s back.
This time around it’s structured into Quests, and you unlock them by completing the one before it and using the Oscorp Encryption Key to gain access! Whereas the Oscorp Conspiracy was a community event before, it is now individualized, allowing a more balanced reward structure, including previously inaccessible Avatars and even Face Front Tokens depending on how well you do!
Quest 1: Word Search for Answers is available to play now! Quest 2: Target Acquired, is coming soon, so be sure to save that Encryption Key if you finish Quest 1! Click Here to access the Oscorp Conspiracy: Back to Formula.
E.G.G.

E.G.G. is a Face Front Fan Fiction that takes place in my own version of the Marvel Universe. I’ve been writing it since 2012 and it has well over 100 core issues, not including spin-offs, events, tie-in series, point ones, and what if’s. Don’t worry though, I’m not going to drop all of that on you at once!
The first 10 issues of E.G.G. are available now to read, and not to mention that you get 5 Face Front Tokens every time you read an issue, so make sure you’re logged in when you read! Subsequent issues will be uploaded on a weekly basis, so keep an eye on the E.G.G. page! Click Here to read E.G.G.
True Believers Fan Club

After the first meeting, and the next one coming up, I’ve decided that in-person meetings, while quite fun, exclude a lot of the Face Front and Marvel fanbase. I did it so that I could finally bring the community part of blog together, but now I’ve got an even better way.
The blog itself is dedicated to fun, Marvel content, and the True Believers Fan Club will be dedicated to the community! Once you’ve joined Patreon at the Avengers Tier or above, you’ll have access to the exclusive True Believers Fan Club webpage and Facebook group, where I will conduct livestreams for everyone involved. That way the interaction I wanted can expand worldwide. Click Here for the latest news on the Fan Club.
Amazing Fantasy

Amazing Fantasy is an audio adventure that will be replacing the Face Front Podcast. The Podcast never got to where I wanted it to be, so I decided to turn it into a more focused, narrative based experience that I’m positive will be enjoyable for Marvel fans everywhere.
Amazing Fantasy is a story that asks the question: What if you woke up in the Marvel Universe? It will have action, drama, romance, adventure, and everything else you expect from a Marvel caliber story! The first episode of Amazing Fantasy will be available soon, with subsequent episodes being uploaded on a consistent basis. Click Here to access the Face Front Podcast.

Prepare to Hatch
I know I’ve been gone for a while, but it’s only because I’ve been working on something big. Trust me, it’s going to be awesome.
