Miles Morales Variant Covers!

5/5 Marvel! Let’s gooo!
When Marvel announced these variant covers (based on Marvel’s Spider-Man Miles Morales) for the past few issues of Amazing Spider-Man and Miles Morales: Spider-Man, I knew I had to have them! In fact, the one for Amazing Spider-Man #55 revealed that the Prowler was in the game!
So I made it my mission to collect them all! And by made it my mission, I mean I asked Eric down at Greg’s Comics to see if he could snag me the variants… Greg’s comics, by the way, northwest corner of Alma School and Guadalupe if you’re looking for a quality comic shop in AZ. Clearly, I mean, they got me my variants! 20% off all day everyday!
Anyways, I gotta say #53.LR and #55 are my favorites, (the covers, I’ll get into Last Remains later…) but I do quite enjoy all of them. They will make a fine addition… to my collection. My Gamerverse comic collection that is. City at War, Velocity, The Black Cat Strikes, and all of the Avengers prequel comics! Somebody wake me up when we actually get some in-universe Miles comics, ’cause I’m gonna get those too!
Did you get any of these variants? Or all of them? Let me know below. That’s it for now, Face Front True Believers! And I’ll see you in the Multiverse!

Secret Wars: The Final Season
The secret ends here True Believers! After a year of fighting, the Secret Wars come to an end! I can’t say I’m not sad to see it all fall apart, but that tends to happen when comes Galactus!

HYDRA finally pulls the ultimate move to destroy S.H.I.E.L.D: The coming of Galactus. Now, with the entire Earth at stake, Nick Fury calls in Captain Marvel to save them! However, she must contend with the Sentinel of the Spaceways himself, the Silver Surfer!
This month’s S.H.I.E.L.D. ally is none other than Captain Marvel herself! Higher, further, faster! And certainly not working for HYDRA, but a means to their ends, is the incredible Silver Surfer!
With these two cosmic combatants of course comes a War Zone redesign! Check it out!
And the last motion comic of the year (a shame because I have fun making these!) sets the stage for the 12th and final season of Secret Wars!
So what are you waiting for True Believers? Now is the most important month to play Secret Wars! Because not only do just fight for S.H.I.E.L.D. and HYDRA, but as the War Zones suggest, this time around you fight for Earth… or Galactus!

That’s all… forever! Face Front True Believers, and I’ll see you one last time… in the Secret Wars!

Spider-Man: Return of the Sinister Six
We’ve finally located Spider-Man! After the events of the Infinity Showdown, Spider-Man finds himself in a world without Avengers! Even worse, some of his greatest enemies have returned from defeat, and formed a new alliance to take him down: The Sinister Six.
The action doesn’t end with the video! Check below for more behind the scenes content!
Spider-Man: Return of the Sinister Six is part of a larger story that spans all of Face Front! Use this guide to figure out which videos to watch and the order to watch them in! All of these videos are located on Face Front’s YouTube, or in the Videos tab!
Learn about the Sinister Six with these Villain Profiles!
The music in Spider-Man: Return of the Sinister Six plays a big part, and most of it was chosen intentionally to match the scene playing at the time.
Spider-Man: Far From Home (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)- Michael Giacchino
It’s Perfect– This is the song that played in the movie whenever Peter and MJ were having a moment, so of course I played it over the Peter and MJ moment in my video!
And Now This– This song played in the movie when Mysterio revealed Spidey’s identity in the post credits scene, so of course I played it over my recreation of that scene.
Multiple Realities– When Peter is snapped into the alternate dimension by Falcon, I play Multiple Realities because Peter does in fact find himself in one of them. This played in the film when Mysterio was explaining the Multiverse.
The Magical Mysterio Tour– This was played in the flick during Mysterio’s mind-trippy battle sequence, so it’s only right that I use for mine!
Taking the Gullible Express/ Spidey Sensitive- I played this one when Peter was surrounded, trapped, and about to be defeated, when there seemed to be no hope of him making it out. In the movie, it was when Spidey lost to Mysterio and got hit by a train, so the theme of Spider-Man defeated carried through this decision.
Marvel’s Spider-Man (Original Video Game Soundtrack)- John Paesano
The Sinister Six– The opening scene replaying the defeats of each member of the Sinister Six. As this scene is introducing them all, I chose this piece from the game where they introduce the Sinister Six.
Negative View– This may have been during a Mr. Negative fight scene in the game, but as a high-octane, fast-paced battle song, it worked perfectly for Spider-Man’s battle with the Sinister Six! One could argue that getting ambushed by six bad guys could give you a negative point of view!
Spider-Man- This instant John Paesano classic theme to the PS4 Spider-Man was the only choice to play when that particular Spidey entered the scene!
Venom (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)- Ludwig Goransson
Symbiotes Arrive– This one was in my video when the Sinister Six had Spidey down and were about to finish him off. Then, Venom, the Symbiote, arrived! I mean, duh.
Eyes, Lungs, Pancreas– I ran this song when Venom remembered what had happened to the Spider-Man 3 version of himself. In the movie this was when Venom first fully showed up; so when he revealed himself to be hostile, I took it as the real Venom, a Spidey villain, first truly showing up.
Venom (Eminem)– This is technically a single, but still in the Venom movie. I played it when Venom took down the Sinister Six. Because honestly, who doesn’t love this sick beat from Shady! I did play the clean version, though… there might be kids watching!
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)- Hans Zimmer
I’m Spider-Man– In the movie, this song introduced Spider-Man into the movie. After a bleak plane crash in the opening, this uplifting beat inspired hope, and let you know it was all going to be okay. So when The Amazing Spider-Man arrives to save Peter, I was hoping to capture that same feeling.
Spider-Man (Original Motion Picture Score)- Danny Elfman
Main Title– This heroic score from whenever Spider-Man entered the scene in the Raimi trilogy was the only choice to introduce Tobey’s version of the hero.
Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse (Soundtrack From & Inspired By the Movie)- Post Malone and Swae Lee
Sunflower– Sharp fans will notice that the video ended with the voices of the five heroes from Into the Spider-Verse: Miles, Gwen, Sp//dr, Spider-Ham, and Noir. So naturally, I cut in just a little bit of the top song from that album!
Spectacular Spider-Man Theme- The Tender Box
Yes, I played the Spectacular Spider-Man theme song when Spectacular Spider-Man showed up. No surprise there!
Below is the script for Spider-Man: Return of the Sinister Six. You’ll see I didn’t follow it verbatim, but this is ultimately the outline I used to tell the story.

Marvel’s Avengers: Pro Tips
Are you caught between an AIM Adaptoid and a hard place? Do you find MODOK hard to beat? Does your Hulk maybe not smash as hard as he should? Well lucky for you, I’ve got some completely useful, and not useless, pro tips to help you get a leg up in Square Enix’s Marvel’s Avengers game! So pay attention! These are gonna help you win! Because they’re completely useful!!!!!
Pro Tip #1:
If you have to be at work at 8:00 am, maybe don’t stay up past midnight playing the Avengers Game. In all fairness, I was having so much fun I lost track of time! #Reassemble!!!

Pro Tip #2:
Your Avengers group photo will fit inside of a 5×7 picture frame. I suggest getting one.

Pro Tip #3:
The answer is not C. The answer will never be C. The only acceptable answers are A and B. Never do answer C!

Pro Tip #4:
The inscription on Cap’s memorial statue AND his famous “You Move” quote both appear in Amazing Spider-Man #537. In the same speech bubble no less. But according to Kamala, real fans already know this.

Pro Tip #5:
It’s easy to get caught up in trying to get the highest gear for your Avenger, but gear level does not define you! Remember, gear is not a thing you are, it’s a thing you get!

Pro Tip #6:
Don’t kill Kate Bishop. She’s too cute to die!

Pro Tip #7:
Don’t sleep on free stuff if you have PlayStation Plus!

Pro Tip #8:
When your conversation veers into Clint Barton being Kate Bishop’s sugar daddy, it’s time to disband the Strike Team, turn off the game, and call it a night.

Pro Tip #9:
Get the Platty on PS4 before transferring to PS5. All your trophies carry forward, but they don’t move back!

Pro Tip #10
If you’re having trouble sleeping, try gazing out of the Chimera window on a calm, quiet night. It is very soothing, and will definitely put you out!

Pro Tip #11
Techno-Lava BAD!
Pro Tip #12
When live-streaming, 2 Ms. Marvels is always better than one! Especially if one is in the new MCU getup! Also, put your face and comments in the BOTTOM LEFT! And don’t put your face on top of your comments!

Pro Tip #13
She’s a 10, but she works for A.I.M.

Pro Tip #14 – Final Tip
Don’t watch sad goodbye videos right before walking into work. Because then you’re gonna have to explain to all of your coworkers that you’re crying because a video game is ending.
Bookmark this page True Believers! The more I play, the more completely useful and not utterly useless Pro Tips I’ll come up with!Okay, well the previous paragraph was the end of this post for years, but I guess it’s not relevant anymore. Avengers is having their final update this Friday (as of typing this) and all support will end in September. I hope, at least, that someone, anyone, somewhere, got some, any use, out of even one of these completely useful and not utterly useless Pro Tips! Maybe I’ll do this for another game, if Marvel ever goes the live service route again. But until then, it’s goodbye for Marvel’s Avengers. I can truly say that it was fun while it lasted. Face Front True Believers, and I’ll see you in the Multiverse.

Top 10 Last Words in all of Marvel
Hey there True Believers! So as I’m sure you’re aware, a lot of heroes have fallen in the Marvel Universe, but some of them make sure to drop an awesome final line before they go out! Some don’t even have to die, but their final interactions with certain characters can be just as memorable. So I’ve gathered my list of the top ten last words across all of Marvel! I’m talking comics, shows, movies, here are the final words of Marvel heroes that will stick with me forever!
*Note, this list, being about last words and all, goes into the deaths of a lot of characters, so watch out for Spoilers!
10: Elektra
“This is not the end…”
Elektra Natchios, Daredevil S2E13
As Daredevil is holding a dying Elektra in his arms in the Season 2 finale, these are the last words she utters to the man she loves. Marvel fans know Elektra comes back after she dies, but still, this leaves just the right amount of hopeful and ominous in the hearts of viewers. She’s literally dying, and her final choice of words are it’s not over! Perfect dialogue for Elektra considering her story, and perfect last words.
9: Living Laser
“Imagine that. I’m the guy who saved Iron Man.”
Arthur Parks, Iron Man: Armored Adventures S1E21
Living Laser was dying throughout the episode, his own energy tearing him apart. Tony was the only one that tried to help save him, so when M.O.D.O.C. (that’s not a typo, in this show he was Designed Only for Chaos) spilled the beans on Iron Man’s identity, Laser decided to use everything he had left to help save Tony. A touching and heroic sacrifice from a villain, and last words that just tug at the heartstrings!
8: Heimdall
“Allfathers… let the dark magic flow through me one last… time.
Heimdall, Avengers: Infinity War
Heimdall was in a bad place from the moment Infinity War started. He couldn’t help Thor or Hulk fight Thanos, the Black Order had Loki dead to rights, it was bleak. So with his final breath, he summons the Bifrost one more time and sends Hulk to warn the Avengers of Thanos’s arrival! It cost him dearly, but it was a brave sendoff for the Guardian of the Bifrost. Not to mention it tied up that issue most people had with Thor getting back to Earth in The Avengers after the Bifrost had been destroyed.
7: Mary Jane
“Face it Tiger… you just hit the jackpot.”
Mary Jane Watson, Amazing Spider-Man #545
One More Day is probably nobody’s favorite Spider-Man story. But I’d be lying if I said watching Mephisto tear Peter and MJ’s marriage apart wasn’t emotional. This was one of only a few times that reading a comic book made me cry. And the fact that Mary Jane’s last words to Peter were also her first… oof. They knew what they were doing. Right in the feels.
6: Black Bolt
“Goodbye, brother.”
Black Bolt, Inhumans S1E8
When Black Bolt speaks, people listen! Of course that’s because a mere whisper from him could level a mountain, so he uses his words sparingly. Black Bolt had one line in the entire 8 episodes of the Inhumans show. And he used it not only to say goodbye to his brother, but to trap him on the moon forever. Such a powerful moment, and a successful use of his one line.
5: Madame Masque
“You and I found something on the bottom of the ocean. And I tried to turn it into something beautiful.”
Whiney Frost, Avengers: Black Panther’s Quest S5E23
The Avengers Assemble show didn’t have much in terms of relationships you could get behind, but one of them was Hawkeye and Whitney Frost. They bonded in Season 4 and were found working together on an ancient washed up Wakandan ship in Season 5. Of course, when this ship turned Whitney into Madame Masque and slowly drove her insane, it had to go. She used everything in her power to save her discovery, but when it’s clear she’s going to lose, she turns to Hawkeye and says this to his face before getting dragged down and blown up. Hawkeye’s reaction alone was enough to warrant this inclusion.
4: The Watcher
“I see you.”
Uatu, Original Sin #1
Brilliant writing. Just, who thinks of this!? Uatu, who’s sole purpose in life is to watch people, and observe universal events, turns to his killer and says “I see you.” Perfect, perfect, prefect. Original Sin was worth it for this line alone! I will never not love that these were Uatu’s last words.
3: Mysterio
“People, they need to believe. And nowadays, they’ll believe anything.”
Quentin Beck, Spider-Man: Far From Home
So, I mean, come on. He’s not dead. Seriously, his last words were literally people will believe anything! He’s not dead! And I don’t know about you, but I think that this is the perfect closing line for the Master of Illusion. All it was missing was a director saying “And… scene!” Honestly, Mysterio is the best big-screen adaptation of a Spider-Man villain since Green Goblin. And this line as his last just confirms it.
2: Jean Grey
“Mutation, it is the key to our evolution. It is how we have evolved from a single-celled organism into the dominant species on the planet. This process is slow, normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward.”
Jean Grey, X2: X-Men United
As X2 comes to a close, and we pan over Alkali Lake, we hear the voice of the recently deceased Jean Grey reciting a speech about mutation, and how it effects evolution. This “Evolution leaps forward” speech in and of itself is amazing, but the fact that Xavier opened the first movie with this speech, word for word, makes it that much cooler. And as if all that wasn’t enough, just as she says the final line, we see the Phoenix appear ever so faintly beneath the water. Talk about Evolution! This scene will always give me chills!
1: Iron Man
“I am Iron Man.”
Tony Stark, Avengers: Endgame
You knew this was number one. Again, who thinks of this stuff! Tony Stark, the man that started the MCU, and ended the first movie with the famous words “I am Iron Man”. This is just a full circle ending at its finest, and honestly, the best last words from any character in all of Marvel history. This moment is one of those cinematic staples that will be immortalized with the greatest film moments of all time! I am Iron Man, then a snap to save the universe. The MCU mic drop, and the heroic sacrifice we will never forget.
That’s my list! Did I miss anything? Let me know below, and as always, Face Front True Believers, and I’ll see you in the Multiverse!

I guess I like it because it’s got a little of everything: Action, stealth, platforming, QTE’s! All that jazz. Also, I don’t know how you n00bs play Marvel’s Spider-Man, but have a seat and observe a master at work. This is some high-level gameplay, okay! Put some respect on my name!
